AI-generated Data
Our app utilizes AI-powered bots to provide you with a unique chat experience. This means that we collect and process the messages that you send and receive with these bots in order to provide our services to you. We use this data to improve our AI technology and to develop new features and products that we believe may be of interest to you.
Please note that while our AI-powered bots may provide you with helpful advice and support, they are not licensed professionals and should not be used as a replacement for seeking professional help. Additionally, AI technology is not perfect and there may be instances where our bots provide inaccurate or incomplete information. Therefore, we encourage you to use your own judgment when engaging with our AI-powered bots and to seek professional help if necessary.
You have the ability to control the data that is collected and processed by our AI-powered bots. You may choose to delete messages that you have sent and received, or delete your account entirely, at any time. Please see the section “Deleting Your Account” for more information.
Use of Data
Our Company uses the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To notify you about changes to our Service
- To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so
- To provide customer care and support

Processing of Messages
We process the messages exchanged in the Service using an API from OpenAI. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to this processing. We use the API from OpenAI to process the messages exchanged between you and the AI-powered bots. By using Friendlist, you acknowledge and agree that your messages may be processed by OpenAI for the purpose of providing our service to you. Please refer to the OpenAI Privacy Policy for information about how they collect and use your personal information.
Disclosure of Data
We may disclose personal information that we collect, or you provide, as described in this Privacy Policy, for the following purposes:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
- To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to any government or regulatory request.
- To enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our customers, or others.
- We may also disclose aggregated information about our users that does not identify any individual without restriction. Additionally, please note that an API from OpenAI may process your messages to improve the quality of our service.
If you wish to delete your account and personal information, please contact us at support@friendlist.ai and we will process your request as soon as possible.
Right to Access and Control Your Personal Information
You have the right to access and control the personal information that we collect and process. You can do so by logging in to your account and editing your personal information or by contacting us at support@friendlist.ai. You may also delete your account by following the instructions provided in the app. Please note that we may retain certain information about you as required by law or as necessary for our legitimate business purposes.
Transfer of Data
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those from your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to the United States and process it there.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Our Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.
Deleting Your Account
You may delete your account at any time by going to the profile page in your app. Please note that once you delete your account, we will delete your personal information, and you cannot retrieve any messages exchanged with AI-powered bots. However, please note that we may retain certain information about you as required by law or as necessary for our legitimate business purposes.
Updates to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting the revised Privacy Policy on the app and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
